Some of the "must watch" movies are clearly ones that warrant tears at the end...Philadelphia comes to mind as one that always makes me cry. Mommie Dearest on the other hand, doesn't.
But would someone please explain why the end of A League of Their Own makes me weep?
(I think I'm going to go surf back and forth between Field of Dreams and game 1 of the World Series, even if, as my mother put it the other day "it doesn't matter, the important games have already been played. It doesn't matter who won the world series, the league championships were more important."

I'm surprised you mentioned it...it's not a movie I run accross many people who've seen it. Oddly enough, this is the second time in two days where it's come up-someone mentioned it at work over lunch yesterday and everyone looked at me like I was nuts for knowing it.

How was it yesterday? We had a little gloating among the baseball fans in the office.
(And of course, the amusing fact that six women were sitting around the table discussing baseball, and the two men were just confused.)

Isn't that the answer to every question about women?

As long as you continue to be cute and tell me good stories, I'll let you be as facetious as you want.
