Meow?
It's a well documented fact that Beta is not the brightest cat in the world. He amuses some of you with stories about how silly he is. So here's another one.
I got home today and decided to clean the litterboxes. I grab the liners out, take them to the trashpile, come back in the house, wash the boxes out, and put new liners in. I struggle for a few minutes with the bucket of litter, and in the meantime, I've placed the boxes back where they belong and sprinkled them with baking soda. Beta wanders in, and bounces into one. He sniffs, and then hops out, and into the other one. Sniffs again, looks terribly confused and starts to cry. "Something's wrong with this. It's not right." He spent a good five or six minutes, hopping back and forth between the two boxes and crying.
I finally get the lid off the bucket, pour the litter into the boxes and replace the covers. Meanwhile, I've placed the now empty bucket of litter on the floor next to me. Beta knocks it over, climbs in and tries to dig a hole so he can pee.
Confused kitty.
