Non-profit condom seller...and they carry a bunch of non-latex stuff, in larger quantities at less expensive prices than I pay in the drugstore. Yay. And cool fun varieties too, so maybe I'll get some of those for treat bags that I make sometimes. Wow!
(Wish they had the e-z on condoms, but I'll break down and try those one day.)
If anyone reads
krasota's journal, could you make sure she sees this-she and I were talking prices on non-latex condoms the other day.
Whee!

The condom prices are stunning - my personal faves are $6.00 a dozen, as opposed to almost $15 at CVS.
But the latex gloves - $.40 per pair - come out to $20.00 per hundred. I get my latex gloves (high quality, non-powdered) for about $7.00 per box.
Thanks for the bookmark...I'll be sure to hit them next condom purchase time :)

My friends care about my coochie--there are a few comments/posts directing me here. ;)

You're in Virginia, right?

HIV/AIDS lobby day is on 2/18-I'll be in Richmond, with a bunch of other people, lobbying against the parental notification stuff, and for funding for drugs for plwah in prisons and jails. VORAonline.org has more info.
Re:
i can't actually go to town to lobby. i'm too sick and i'm already pushing it by going to two concerts right before that (the 15th and the 16th) in DC. i will be crashing pretty hard.
Re:
If you've got time and want to have coffee or something when you're in DC, let me know.
Re:
Polyurethane okay, naturalskin, bad.
I'd try the spermicide thing first-I ended up majorly allergic to that before the latex allergy.

I've not seen them but often spent time thinking of ways to make putting them on easier. I mean, the rolling-on can be tedious and awkward.
Hmmm, must find a local source for non-latex ones for a friend of mine (no, really :)) since I've probably got more contacts in the safer-sex world than he does.
Re:
They're a "bidirectional condom" which apparently means that they can be used internally like a female condom, or externally like a male condom.

Re:
And I think we've ordered some of the EZ On condoms, which are also polyurethane, and spermicide free. I'll have to give you the rundown after we check them out.
