Non-profit condom seller...and they carry a bunch of non-latex stuff, in larger quantities at less expensive prices than I pay in the drugstore. Yay. And cool fun varieties too, so maybe I'll get some of those for treat bags that I make sometimes. Wow!

(Wish they had the e-z on condoms, but I'll break down and try those one day.)

If anyone reads krasota's journal, could you make sure she sees this-she and I were talking prices on non-latex condoms the other day.

I'm not sure how you feel about parental notification laws, but I'm putting together some stuff about them, because there's a bill before the house of delegates about mandating parental notification for sexual health and mental health services, which right now (except for abortion) adolescents can recieve without parental notification. I'm very much against them for all kinds of reasons, but if you're interested, 1. I can e-mail you whatever fact sheets i put together and 2. if you would make a phone call to your delegate about it...

HIV/AIDS lobby day is on 2/18-I'll be in Richmond, with a bunch of other people, lobbying against the parental notification stuff, and for funding for drugs for plwah in prisons and jails. VORAonline.org has more info.

i can't actually go to town to lobby. i'm too sick and i'm already pushing it by going to two concerts right before that (the 15th and the 16th) in DC. i will be crashing pretty hard.

If you'll e-mail/make phone calls, and spread the word to other Virginians you know to do the same, it would be great. That's as important as actually being in Richmond.

we'll likely have time on monday. do you work in DC? is there a convenient area for you? we're likely to go downtown to hit some exhibits. we'll probably try to eat at one of my favorite restaurants (either georgetown or tenleytown) at some point, too.

Work in Arlington, live in Alexandria, and I think that's President's day and if it is, I have the day off anyway.

well, i'm not sure what our plans will be yet, but they will probably involve lunch at Med Deli (tenley metro). Not sure about other stuff, but we'll be free until six or so.
