I was offered the opportunity to stay another six months at this job. And I turned it down. In fact, I think my actual comment was "I can't do it for another six months; I'd go bugfuck. (Name of program) is up to speed and running well, and there just wouldn't be enough to do."

As much as I'm freaked out by the idea of not having a job when I move, the idea of staying here another six months was even worse.
