Beta knows she's not well. When we took her to the vet, he spent the day sleeping on the rug in the entry hallway, which he never does. He saw us leave with her though, and knew that was where we'd come back. He spent a few hours growling and hissing because she smelled funny. I just worry about how he'll do on his own, since he does spend a good bit of time trying to convince her to play.
