Mark Felt, second in command at the FBI at the time.

Curious...what led you to that conclusion?

Course no confirmation will happen til Deep Throat is dead. Then again, if it's true that this guy is it, and he's 91, we may not have to wait that long.

Well, he was an attourney general working in the white house for a while, which meant he was in position to know stuff, him being on the SC meant he had reason to hide his identity, and about six months ago there was a watergate exhibit opened at University of Texas, and the comment was made that Deep Throat was sick, and Rheinquist was sick at the time. Of course who ever deep throat is he's going to be getting up there in age, so being sick doesn't narrow it down a lot.

Are you confusing Rehnquist with Kleindeinst? I don't think Rehnquist was ever AG.
