I admire your decision, and I'm so sorry. It's extremely hard to lose a pet, period, and it takes an extreme amount of bravery to let one go when it's time. I cannot tell you how many animals I have seen in a few short weeks at an emergency practice (where money is almost never an issue) that have wanted to go and how many owners I have seen that have refused to let them, insisting we do whatever we can to save them no matter what the cost is or how the animal is doing. It's so heartwrenching.

You two were wonderful humans for her.
