I've tried the Double Layer Socks and found they did a nice job of blister prevention too, but I just prefer the cushiness of the heavier padding in the Thorlos. They are a little thinner, though, which can be handy if you have shoes that aren't quite roomy enough to cope with the extra thickness of the fluffier Thorlo styles.
