This is Amigo (so nicknamed by my Mom) one of this year's baby raccoons making an appearance at her house. Amigo has learned to open the basement window to try to come inside.

Nope. The closest to "hygeine" they've come to interacting with the human-space is washing paws in the swimming pool a few times.
