Cat in the monitor

Someone forgot that the baby monitor is on and so I'm listening to the Cat in the Hat over the monitor. I need some good "reading to an infant" books though. I also need some good children's books in French, too.

I rescued a baby lizard that had gotten into my house. I'm not sure the lizard wanted rescuing, but I didn't want to clean up dead, regurgitated lizard.

We went to the library, bought blankets and went and got some groceries today. The baby slept nine hours on her own last night. No particular encouragement from us, just went down at about half past ten and woke up at about half past seven. I woke up at about 4, she hadn't gotten up, and I expected she'd be up within the hour. Nope. Slept three and a half more hours. It really messes with my boobies when she does that.

Thanks. I was just having one of those worn out beat up mama days. Naomi had been wonderful for a good part of the day and then melted down in the evening and I was just not coping so well today. She's in a better mood and she's in her Dad's lap, though she should go to bed soon.
