eReader

Nook or Kindle? Which would you choose? Why?

I know there are other eReaders out there, but for reasons that aren't relevant to this discussion, Cayne would prefer I bought one of those two.

I'm actually anti-ebook reader, of all kinds.

I get the whole space consideration thing. But I spend enough time reading things on a screen. When I'm reading for pleasure, be it at home or on the T or wherever, the thought of curling up with a gadget just doesn't sit well with me.

This, plus the DRM issues. I can (and do) buy and sell s/h books on Amazon, but the licenses on ebooks stink, generally.

You can read books in the bath, they don't break or need batteries, and if you lose it, half the books in my house are available for a penny + postage on Amazon.

If I had to get a ebook reader, I'd get one that wasn't a first gen product.
