Well yes...my nephew was born in 1992, and I'm fairly certain he knows how to use a pay phone.

Yep. I see middle schoolers with them all the time.

I got my first one when I started grad school at 23, and ended up working a lot of late nights in semi-shady neighborhoods. I decided it was safer to have one should anything happen than to have to go hunting for a pay phone.

I worked for a contractor for Nextel for a while...when I started there we were using two way text pagers...they weighed a ton, and I hated it. We switched to obnoxious Nextel phones (so I carried two cell phones-my own and my work phone, for extra geek power-even though I was relatively non-geeky there...I worked with a company that was doing a lot of VPN related stuff for them) but the best part was we couldn't get cell signal in the building.

I do know quite a few people who still use pagers...
