Kitty In the Bathtub
So in preparation for the hurricane, we filled the bathtubs in our apartment. We have two bathrooms, one which is usually referred to as "Cayne's" and one which is mine. Both tubs needed scrubbing before we filled them, so Cayne cleaned the tub in his bathroom, and filled it earlier this evening, after cleaning the litterboxes.
The cats all pop into the bathtub once in a while-Beta even sleeps in the tub in my bathroom (he's always been a bathtub cat-since he was a kitten.) Cayne and I were in the livingroom and kitchen respectively, when all of a sudden, we heard a splash from his bathroom.
Gizmo was in the tub.
She leapt out quickly, and took off, staying under the bed for quite a while. But a pitiful wet kitten was seen. And it was funny. And sad. As long as she's okay.

I don't think it matters whether or not she jumped or fell. She was one wet, pissed off cat. She's fine today.

If you'd like an explanation of why, it's because you couldn't read the instructions on the community info page, or because you did read them and still ignored them.
People who engage in behavior like this are the ones we snark, not the ones we let in.
