Mine was also laid-back. The physician reviewed my bloodwork and immunisations. He then asked what medications I took (at that time) and if I'd ever been hospitalised since birth. He liked my answers, filled out the paperwork, and warned me that USCIS often loses paperwork and if that happens, to call, because his office keeps a copy of the report and the chart.

I think the only condition which completely bars a would-be immigrant is HIV infection; pretty much everything else is treatable or can be covered with a waiver. The most painful part of the exam was paying for it. (OK, I'm exaggerating a bit. The MMR shot hurt.)
