Still Not Baby
No baby yet. I promise, we'll let you all know when it happens. I feel like I should write more stuff, and I might, in a little bit.
And because some of you have been asking...the tentative plan for the general public is as follows:
We'll go to the hospital and I'll have the baby. Give us a little time to recover and what not.
One of us (either
zedrikcayne or myself) will make a voice post to this LJ letting you all know it's happened. We'll try our best to snap some photos with the camera phone. We'll e-mail them to at least one person (
whitebird has made the generous offer to receive the e-mail and post them to the web for us...I'm hoping I can get at least one other person to do the same.)
whitebird will post the link in a comment to the voice post.
Once we're home, or once we can sort out a connection at the hospital,
zedrikcayne will post some other photos.
I will probably collect e-mail addresses and ask someone to e-mail out a brief birth announcement, to make sure that my non-LJ using friends can also hear the news.
Any questions?

So much for the opening day baby.
Least you don't have to worry about that anymore.

know who fan, I can still appreciate Yankee Stadium
and its history.
I am kinda sorry that this is the last year there before
they head across the street to the new park.
I guess that leaves Fenway and Wrigley as the
last of the great "old" ballparks.

There's a great story in Dan Savage's book "The Kid" about taking his son to a Chicago Cubs (I think) game, and "baptizing" him with beer at the ballpark. It's a family thing...my parents took us to our first game, and it was just something memorable. And I just can't love the Devil Rays...it wouldn't feel the same going to a game in Tampa.

It's gorgeous. It's absolutely gorgeous. And we both cooed over the snaps on the pants. That's one of the smartest things ever and something I so rarely see on hand made baby clothes.
Plus that's a great hat. I promise photos when the baby's here to wear it.
