I used to be able to do it sitting down-I haven't tried in years...but to do it laying on your back is a different story.

Well, hm. To be fair, I was thinking of sitting down, but I needed to know. I disappeared off into the basement so I'd be quite sure I didn't get interrupted and have to explain (especially since there's no way I could do it with my jeans on), and I'm happy to report that at least if I hold my foot in place with my hand I can get my whole big toe in my mouth while lying on my back. Now I feel rather silly.
