I know, I owe you all a big update about my week away (and you'll get it, I promise) and I owe the members of a QOTW (which I just really need to post) but at the moment I'm trying not to claw my ear off, because it hurts way down inside and down my jaw.

I'm hoping it's just my ultrasensitive ears, but I'll see what's going on when I wake up.

I'm fascinated by the meme that's going around about how you became aware of someone's existence, and when you actually met them in person. Of the people on my friend's lists, some I have very vivid memories of meetings and some, far fuzzier memories of meeting. I'm wondering why my first interactions with some people are so vividly etched in my mind, and others much fuzzier-it has very little to do with how the person has impacted my life though.

If you do want to share how you became aware of me, and where/when we first met, go ahead.
