A question for the beading types on my Flist...

I bought a basic bead book that came with some simple supplies...a good choice I thought, for someone who wants to just experiment and start out, see if I like it or not. I've yet to open it though...I'm looking for a good way to store the beads that came with the kit.
Any suggestions?

[livejournal.com profile] messyjessy is probably the one to ask, but my suggestion would be a tackle box.

I have a bunch of subdivided boxes that I use for my beading...I've gotten them at a variety of places, but storables has this one that I've used: http://www.storables.com/shopping.cfm?ProductID=297&Category1=Kids&category2=Crafts&do=detail

If you get the subdivided boxes, make sure they're the type that won't bleed the beads into each others' compartments when turned upside down.

I use little 2" cellophane bags, which I order by the 100 from Fire Mountain Gems.

Oh! I do this too. I use the larger boxes for larger beads mostly, but it's a very good point to check the likelyhood of bleeding.

Fire Mountain Gems has been around for a long time and have always been good to order from for me too.

I've got a few of these. They work well.

Pill containers, the divided one or two week ones. Michael's had some unlabeled ones that came in xxl size 2 week that I bought for my drugs, I keep thinking I'm going to abandon that and put my beads in them.

itsy bitsy plastic fishing fly boxes. get them at the hardware store, they are cheaper. get good ones that won't bend and let your beads mix. mixing colors is bad, doncha know?
