We've eaten more cream cheese this week than we have since moving in together. Cream cheese on matzo is the yum.

My sister hates her bridesmaid's dress...but she didn't tell me that. She told Mom. She picked it, she had a year to try it on, check it out, and so on...she didn't until the last second...at which point she didn't have time to choose another dress. Not my problem. I let her choose the color. Though I did say to Mom that she hates it, and she says it looks terrible because it's not short enough, tight enough or skin-baring enough.

Next major wedding project is wedding rings...I'm trying to figure out what I actually want. We've agreed yellow gold, and plain.

Man, I was so much about the TempTee (or however they spell it) on matzah when I was little. Yay! I like peanut butter on matzah, too, but I didn't have that on Pesach. :)

Philadelphia cream cheese was on sale for 99 cents-Cayne bought four bricks, we opened the third one tonight.

Peanut Butter on Matzo is yummy too, but you're right-not during Pesach. Grape jelly too.

This week so far on matzah:
- swiss cheese, melted
- neufchatel (essentially cream cheese)
- imported israeli parve pesadic chocolate spread
- garlic & herb feta, melted
- chopped liver spread
- green tomato habanero sauce.

We've been eating neufchatel, cause Cayne knows it makes me happier. And I ate chopped liver, and I think I had margarine one night. Tomorrow night for dinner is Matzo pizza.

It's been oddly easier this year than in some years, not that I'm not looking forward to the end of Pesach.

Could it be because you're mostly home and with someone to cook for / with?

It might be. It also might be that I had access to Passover groceries which was really challenging in Virginia. Or that consciously or unconsciously, I've changed the way I eat in general which made Passover easier.

I didn't obsess over corn syrup this year, which I sometimes do, I rather gladly fed Cayne chametz when he was sick and asked, and yet wasn't bothered at all by my own inability to share.

I am *so* feeling your pain on the bridesmaid dress deal. Just remember, when *they* are being a bridesmaid from hell, *you* are not a bridezilla.

Hang in there! You're *so* close! :)

I do remember some stories about your bridesmaids. It's comforting.

And thank you for telling me I'm not being bridezilla...I sometimes worry about it.

Not to pimp or anything but we got our wedding rings at JB Robinson (aka Kay Jewelers). I don't remember the exact size but they're the first ones in the range that don't look like they're choking your finger (I've got fat fingers ;)). Nice. Cayne fell in love with the flat one-it looks like a sliced off piece of pipe, and I'm not sure what I want...there's a pretty leaf patterned one that I like, but I wonder if it looks "wedding ring" enough.

AH heck...every bride's maid hates their dress. I think it's the law.

Actually, I think it's one of the better bridesmaids' dresses out there.

I mean, I don't expect to wear it again, but I think I'll enjoy wearing it on the actual wedding day. The skirt has a nice drape to it, and I really like that it's not all one color.

And I honestly expect that I'd wear the top again, even if I never wore the bottom. But I could totally wear that top...

I made my bridesmaids wear pink. I should have been shot. ;)

J looked at me funny when I brought home several different tubs of flavored cream cheese last week. We eat cream cheese, but not THAT much! :)

But it's Passover. Of course you need that much cream cheese. I'll probably go get more since we're having people over for Sunday tea, and I'll do a mix of Chametz and not, since I'm the lone Jew, but the guests seem to be excited about trying matzoh.

The thing that amused me was when Cayne voluntarily reached for matzo and cream cheese to go with dinner last night.

Heh. This is reminding me that I've not had any matzoh with butter on it all season, and I even bought a new tub!

We're doing Matzo Pizza tonight, and I think Sloppy Joes on Matzo tomorrow night.
