I hate the gargling part, but I've already been doing it. Unfortunatly, it seems that for the last few years my tonsils have hated me...last time I had tonsilitis, the nurse looked, didn't bother with a throat culture and asked which antibiotic I wanted. If I go today, I can be uncontagious sooner and back at work...that's the only advantage to that. Because the truth is, other than having difficulty talking and swallowing, I don't feel all that awful-certainly not too awful to be at work...I'm home because I'm more likely than not contagious.
