I had originally expected that she wouldn't be able to come down for it (conflict with work-it's the start of summer session II and so she needs to be on campus) and so I'd made arrangements with friends to be taken care of because I'm not allowed to be alone for the first x number of hours. It's late enough in the week though that she probably can be there...and I do want her there, if she can manage to be there without causing me more stress than its worth. The last thing I need while recovering from surgery is Mom-stress. My mom is wonderful, but we have our moments...
