Scott is somewhere near Frederick. He thought he would be here by 8:30...I didn't believe him, and I was right.

I'm about to head out to grab some breakfast, mail a few things, get money and pay my rent.

I stayed up way too late last night, felt unmotivated to pack and so on. I'm finding the preparation for this trip incredibly stressful. I spent time looking at Mars, and watching Beta impress me with acrobatic feats. Oblivion came to bed and cuddled with me, waking me by climbing gently on my back and meowing. I will miss the little monsters. They're in good hands I think. Right now they're incredibly quiet...Beta of course tried to help as I put clean sheets on the bed this morning.

There's not a whole lot left to do before I'm ready to go-last minute things like I chronicled above, empty the dishwasher and that's about it. I'll try to nap before we leave, and nap some in the car...maybe burn a disk of MP3s before I go.

I'm anxious and excited all at once. People to see, places to go...I can't seem to track down one person who I'd love to find, but the most current e-mail I have for her bounced last night. I'll have to do some more poking around to see if I can track her down. (If anyone remembers my friend Blink (Megan) and can track a current e-mail address for her, let me know.)

I'm only hoping that this won't be a sort of come back and need a vacation from the vacation thing.
