To Do lists

I think I've gotten the CD drive fixed on the computer (bad driver update from Motorola made things crash).

Many of the things on my pre-travel list are crossed off. I should get to a few more of them tomorrow, or Friday morning before I leave. Some of them may have to wait until I return but it will be okay.

(I was just far too amused by a beer commercial-a guy and a girl sitting on the couch talking about how big her shirt is, and how it belong to her huge old boyfriend.)

Beta seems better than yesterday...I felt like a bad mom, he was sick after he had his vaccinations. He's mellower than usual, but he seems better. The tech thought he was adorable and gave him extra love and kisses and made notes in his file about how cute he is. I still feel guilty for subjecting him to all of that. I'll be glad when he's fixed and we'll be done with the vet for a while I think.

I celebrated an early Valentine's Day with aquariumgirl today. Extra special.

I am nervous about this whole conference thing. It will be fun and interesting, but I always stress about getting up in front of a large group for the first time. It's also the first time that A. has seen me present anything, which makes it even more nerve wracking.

Okay, one more thing to do before I sleep and that shouldn't take too long. Busy day tomorrow and Friday.

I think one of my biggest fears about the impending conference is that I will forget some essential piece of my presentation. Like leave it here in the office.
