In the last two days, I've seen two interesting posters about HIV.
One was from
Us Helping Us I think-an organization "committed to reducing HIV infection in the African American community by specializing in HIV prevention and support services for black, gay and bisexual men and transgender persons." I saw it on the bus yesterday. Two pictures, one of a man and a man, and one of that same man with a woman. The text read "This phone call is also on the down low." (It might have said on the DL, but they mean the same thing.) I thought "Neat!" (On the DL is a term sometimes heard for men who have wives/girlfriends but still mess with men on the side, in secret.) I was really impressed. Very well done.
The other that appeared today says, "Multiple Partners?" The text on the bottom reads "Unprotected sex can expose you to HIV through your partners and all of his partners." I liked the multiple partners concept. This one could have been better exectued, but I liked the idea...it seemed less judgemental than a lot of stuff I've seen for people with multiple partners.
