My wallet is gone. Gone. Gone. Gone.

Which means I have no ID.

I didn't lose much cash-only about $8...but my credit card, bank card, checkbook, and all sorts of other random stuff. And a bunch of quarters I was hoarding for laundry. It's a nuisance to try and replace my ID because I have to try and scrounge up a bunch of other things that identify who I am. It would be less of a major crisis if I wasn't going to have to get on a plane in just over a week.

I have my (very) expired passport, and a student ID from college...hopefully that will be enough to get me on my flight. The other possbility is to try and get a non-driver ID card from Virginia before I go...I don't have enough ID to do that at the moment, but I may be able to scare up one more piece in the next day or two (depending on the power situation up north) and then have some kind of current photo ID.

PITA.

(no subject)

After tearing apart much of my apartment, I may have scraped up enough ID to replace my driver's license, which will take several weeks. However, I may have enough to get a Virginia Non-Driver ID, as well.

What I really care about is whether or not I have enough photo ID to fly. At the moment I've amassed:

1 very expired passport (it expired 8 years ago)
1 photo ID from undergrad studies with no expiration date and no signature, but it does have my SSN on it
1 photo id with signature from grad school, which is expired, but is a photo of me
1 (non-current, but no one needs to know that) work ID with photo and signature

I think this will be enough. The guy from Jet Blue I spoke to a couple of hours ago says the expired passport will be fine, but I'm not sure I feel okay travelling with just that. I think it should be enough ID.
