Layoffs have started. Two people have been given 30 days notice.

I would be in a lot more danger if I wasn't planning on leaving anyway.

I'm sad about it. At the same time, it's part of working in grant funded organizations...they cycle like this sometimes.

I still need to find a job in NJ, and I'm just not sure where to look.

Crap. Somehow I managed to move my taskbar from the bottom of the screen where I like it to the right hand side of the screen.

And I can't remember how to get it back.

Edit: Toolbar back where it belongs after an irritatingly long click and drag battle.

I know I complain about lack of education sometimes, but I think this story takes it to extremes.
