Behind the Green Door
May. 29th, 2006 10:26 pmWell, it's a red door right now, but Cayne told me that I can paint the front door of our house green when we paint. (Props to you if you know the subject line.)
We put a verbal offer in (and it was accepted) on a very neat house (not in MLS, so no photos yet) in Apopka. Apopka is a bit northwest of Orlando, probably putting us 40-ish miles from Disney World (just to give you a frame of reference.) It'll be about a 25 minute commute for Cayne.
It's three bedrooms, two full bathrooms (with a garden tub in the master bath) and open plan-which gives it kind of an eat in kitchen/sitting room, and a formal living/dining room. It's got high ceilings, wood floors in the formal space, carpet in the bedrooms only, and tile in the rest of the place. Plus a big yard, two car garage and an attic. And it's zoned for new schools that are already under construction. And arched doorways and plant shelves and stuff.
