Toddler Moments
Apr. 10th, 2010 10:00 pmWe went to the mall today to do some errands. In one store, I was asking a question about something and Naomi looked at the sales woman and said "Bye Bye." The sales lady looked at her and said "I don't think your Mom is finished, it's not time to say bye yet."
So I finish up, and pay and Naomi looks at the sales woman and says "Bye. Bye." The woman responds to her and says "Now it's time to say 'Bye'" And she waves and tells Naomi "bye." And then says to me, "Have a nice day." And Naomi says, "Thank you!"
Everyone who heard this exchange started laughing. It was just cute. And charming. And I turned to Naomi and said "Thank you for using your polite manners." Because I really did appreciate the fact that she said "Thank you."
