Please Pardon the Interruption
Sep. 4th, 2010 08:03 pmbut I'm having a "worst Mom ever" moment.
Naomi must have popped her elbow out again-we noticed at dinner that she was trying to pick her milk up with just one hand. So after dinner we checked it out and she was doing the "holding it at a funny angle and not moving it" thing that she does when she gets nursemaid's elbow.
So before we hauled her to urgent care again, we decided to try just once to follow the directions the pediatrician gave us for putting it back. Cayne held her in front of me, I straightened the arm, rotated it and bent it upwards. And you could hear and feel the "pop" when it went back into place. A moment of crying and she seems fine.
But it was awful while I did it and it made an awful sound.
I'm just glad she's feeling better.
