Jan. 23rd, 2004 02:22 pmI'm not pleased about this piece of pending legislation which would make public sex acts between two consenting adult men a felony, but keep public sex acts that involve a consenting adult man and a consenting adult woman a misdemeanor.
On a more amusing note (accompanied near the end of the paragraph by a serious question), we talked about penises at lunch today. For the record, I prefer to eat my lunch and not talk about them, but what started out as a discussion of Chinese Astrology became sidetracked when one of the women mentioned "Year of the Cock" and how that was one of her favorite words. (I promise, if anyone's worried, we're grown ups here.) So we talked about that, and we talked about virginity, and we talked about marriage and weddings, and high schools. And then we talked about "the package" again. Admittedly, I tend not to notice who has a particularly good looking one, until it's pointed out to me. Am I unusual in this? The men at the table seemed much keener in their awareness of whose package looks particularly large or particularly good. I am however, baffled by the use of "his box" by a particular co-worker. I'm used to "box" being slang for female genitalia, not male.
