Non-profit condom seller...and they carry a bunch of non-latex stuff, in larger quantities at less expensive prices than I pay in the drugstore. Yay. And cool fun varieties too, so maybe I'll get some of those for treat bags that I make sometimes. Wow!

(Wish they had the e-z on condoms, but I'll break down and try those one day.)

If anyone reads [livejournal.com profile] krasota's journal, could you make sure she sees this-she and I were talking prices on non-latex condoms the other day.

Whee!

I'll post a link to this site in my journal, so [livejournal.com profile] krasota and others can see it. I know there's at least one other person on my friends list with a latex allergy, too.

BTW, what is the word on non-latex condoms and HIV transmission? I was mentioning to [livejournal.com profile] fj that I think I might have a latex or spermicide allergy and he suggested the non-latex condoms. He wasn't certain if they had passed FDA approval, though.

Holy cow.

The condom prices are stunning - my personal faves are $6.00 a dozen, as opposed to almost $15 at CVS.

But the latex gloves - $.40 per pair - come out to $20.00 per hundred. I get my latex gloves (high quality, non-powdered) for about $7.00 per box.

Thanks for the bookmark...I'll be sure to hit them next condom purchase time :)

Thanks! It's not a cheaper option for Avanti (than my local Kroger--but it's much cheaper than any non-Kroger options *or* the options you have in the DC area), but they have Reality, which is non-existent in Central VA (in all senses of the word).

My friends care about my coochie--there are a few comments/posts directing me here. ;)

Okay, what's an e-z on condom? (Well, the name sounds kind of self-explanatory but how does it work?)

I've not seen them but often spent time thinking of ways to make putting them on easier. I mean, the rolling-on can be tedious and awkward.

Hmmm, must find a local source for non-latex ones for a friend of mine (no, really :)) since I've probably got more contacts in the safer-sex world than he does.
