Things I Thought About When I Couldn't Sleep Last Night

Cayne snores too much.
I should go sleep on the couch.
We have to finish registering.
Shoot. None of the places we want to register (Bed Bath and Beyond and Macy's) are in Canada.
Do we need to register somewhere in Canada?
Crap. It's almost three AM, and I'm supposed to drive Cayne to work.
I wish the wedding planning was done already.
Cayne is loud...but I think I hear the cat.
Don't want to get out of bed and deal with the cat.

(The cat was fine, she was just making noise. At some point after that, I fell asleep and had a dream which involved the coolest bathroom, with multi-person whirlpool tub, a poker game, an attractive blonde woman, Howard Stern, barking_iguana, some other guy who I didn't recognize, and me. And lots of nudity, but no sex. Howard appreciated my dissing Opie and Anthony too.)

Regarding whether you need to register in Canada -- is registering the expected thing there? How many of your guests live in Canada?

If it were me, unless you anticipated a large demand for a registry in Canada, I'd probably skip it.

Just a sily piece of info - i snore fairly badly and bill basically tries to go to sleep before I do so I don't keep him up. we also have a futon in the living room (which is essentially the next room over from our bedroom) so if it gets really bad, he'll sleep out there. Its hard when one partner's snoring keeps the other one up and ther'es not a lot you can do about it. Though if you think of something, I'm always up for traying something different!

People in Canada can still use the websites for both places. See if Macy's has an affiliate store in Canada. My mother had to go through Goldsmith's in Memphis and my aunt through Rich's in Orlando. Maybe the major city near Cayne's people has a store affiliated with Macy's.

I was going to say the same thing. The best thing with Bed, Bath & Beyond is that they can get most of the stuff online. Even GCs.

It's mostly a question of wanting to let people who like to handle the stuff they're buying (like me) have the opportunity to do so. Macy's is I think owned by Federated, and we're trying to figure out who they are in Canada-they apparently have something in Toronto.

Cayne's been trying some anti snoring stuff which has helped some...I'll get the name of it and give it to you. It's upstairs right now and I'm trying to keep warm down here. I'll probably make a return to IRC now that we've fixed our SSH issue.
