well, another connection amidst the digital ether- I was across the street- our offices faced the north tower- I used to walk through mall/tower lobbies to work. The funny thing that sticks in my brain is that there was a Canadian tourism display set up in the bridge from WTC to WFC..."Blame Canada" was going through my head for so long.
The anger never really goes away- survivor's guilt coupled with the fact that we were completely incapable of doing anything except running,- I remember a female coworker totally abandoning her heeels- and us later having to help her walk barefoot 40 blocks to another co-worker's apt so we could call our families.
