"All Better"

geminigirlNaomi was holding her doll and asking me about milkies for her baby, and telling me that her baby needed milkies.
So I helped her get the doll into a nursing position, but she told me that wasn't right. And so I asked her if I needed to give the baby milkies. But she told me "no." Then she looked at me and pointed to my breast and said "Squeeze." So I hand expressed a few drops of milk and she stuck out the baby's foot and instructed me to put the milkies on the foot.
She rubbed it into her baby's foot, looked at me and said "There you go baby, all better."
And then she found her toy broom and ran off and said "Okay baby, sit down. I better clean up."
These are the three-ish year old moments I cherish.
(ETA-I realize that a lot of you probably don't know all about the magical healing properties of breastmilk, but it's awesome on pimples and cuts, helps heal pinkeye quickly and does all kinds of other awesome stuff.)
