scherzoid) ran in, checked my e-mail and in the inbox was an e-mail from the department head, about a conference in Dallas in February. With it was a call for propoals. And yours truly is supposed to be writing a proposal for a workshop.
I used to be able to turn out a proposal overnight...back in grad school. I'm out of practice.
As it stands, I don't expect this to be accepted-it's too last minute to be high quality work, but at least there'll be something there on paper for next time.
Cross your fingers or legs or something for me.
