I e-mailed my mother and father last night...they're in New York, I'm here, and as such, on 9/11 it was nearly impossible to get through to anyone by phone. I thought it wise that in case of some other tragedy, we agree upon who else to call, in places that aren't New York. Mom responded with a list that included two uncles/aunts, my younger brother (who is in New Mexico), my brother's roommate, my father's cell phone numer...

And the number for the Chinese place where they get take out from every Friday.
