If someone were to have SRS, it would, technically be violating the prohibition on mutilating one's body...the same one that prohibits piercing and tattoos.
My first reaction to that is, okay, but if they don't have the surgery (which is relatively rare even among TS folks, from what I understand), that doesn't apply, anyway. My second reaction is, does the Reform movement actually refuse to ordain people with tattoos or piercings?
