Nope, I've just been paying more attention to lessons, and to taking what's good regardless of if it had anything to do with my original plans.

Do you know the Indigo Girls song, "Watershed"? It's got the line, "Every five years or so I look back on my life and I have a good laugh."

I've been thinking a lot about some of the things in my past...

And wondering how I got here.

And realizing...plans have to change. And I sometimes just have to go with what happens when things diverge from the expected course...a detour if you will.

Needless to say, when I look at where I am...it's where I'm supposed to be for now.

We talked for a good long time last night.

I'm usually not that dense but sometimes I force myself to be so I don't have to deal with the letdown. I guess that's beside the point right now though. :)
