The Torrid store in Montgomery Mall is finally open. A road trip perhaps when I'm feeling a bit better?

Oddity

I'm not used to fireworks down here....

I love fireworks, but they sell them at roadside stands and anyone can go buy them and shoot them off anywhere. Someone's in fact shooting them off behind my apartment building right now. Pretty red and green explosions. The cat seems entertained by them-I think it's a good thing she can't hear or she'd be quite spooked by them.

Quite a lovely sight, but I'm always nervous that someone will get badly injured or that they'll start a fire somewhere.
