Despite what my co-workers say
Aug. 21st, 2002 01:12 pmIt's not scary to date someone with their own web page, even if said web page has a mullet-cam on it.
(A former employee, who predates me, is apparently dating someone with his own web page. This has been the talk of much conversation today. Including a comment about people with their own web pages being scary.)
******************************
The part about people with web pages being scary is however, not nearly as amusing as A. my uber-boss trying to describe oral sex techniques on a woman at breakfast this morning. It included visuals of tongue techniques and all that. And you know...all of the other men at the table were, well, squirming. I don't think any of them have ever come face to, er, well...you know what I mean.

Morons Rule the World!
Aug. 21st, 2002 04:01 pmSo, after finally speaking to a human in the NPs office about what to do WRT the usually symptoms, and getting message upon message that said "You need to go see infectious disease" and my calling back and saying "I did that already" I have finally had a conversation with a human being. This human being seems to finally get that I saw Infectious Disease on July 10. They ordered more bloodwork, which came back clear. Which brings us to where we are now...still not well, still no answers.
The nurse I spoke to is going back to speak to the NP and will call me back.
Let's hope we get somewhere.

Aug. 21st, 2002 05:58 pmIt must be medical miracle day...
Not only did I get to talk to real, live people today at the doctor's office, but the MD who is my primary care physician (who I don't care for, but the one I wanted wasn't taking new patients, and besides, I usually would rather see an NP anyway,) called in a new allergy prescription for me. I'll find out what it is in the morning when I pick it up, after the eye doctor appointment.
