Their usual tricks...

So, my last name starts with the letter G. And as we were getting ready for lunch here (almost always a social event) department head A. and I were talking. And he was trying to say (my firstname) G-isms. It came out (my first name) jisms. I turned around and looked at him and "what?"

Still playing phone tag WRT MRI from a couple of weeks ago. Preliminary results in, but the nurse couldn't tell me much, so I need to talk to the doctor. I've discussed with one or two people the preliminary results...the other handful of people who I want to discuss them with I haven't actually talked to, so it's sort of moot. And I haven't mentioned them to my parents yet, because there's no point in worrying much until I know for sure what things might mean. (How's that for vague?) Which is making me growly, simply because I'm still playing phone tag.

Edit: So I just got a call from the nurse for the new PCP. Same office, different doctor, but they have different support staff. She said she didn't see the MRI, but she was going to go talk to the nurse from the old PCPs office and find out what was up. So maybe I'll get some information soon.

Wow. Neat.
