Apparently my tonsils were in worse shape than the surgeon had anticipated. ( kinda gross but in a cool gross sort of way. )

So the verdict is, I'm healing fine, but I need to drink more, and take more drugs. I think I'm going to change clothes, take some more drugs and finish my vanilla shake and have a nap.

No more milkshakes. Not until I'm done healing. I spent too much time spitting and coughing after the 1/3 of the small one I tried to eat today to make it worthwhile.

also...

it's a very bad sign that I've had a nightmare about not being able to get any potatoes. I had this nightmare, during a nap, I was wandering around and around and around Whole Foods and couldn't get a potato anywhere. No raw potatoes at all, no mashed potatoes...they had no potatoes anywhere. None. It was horrible. I woke up in a panic. Not kidding.
