Before we went to see the Miss Gay Mexico pagent last night (which we didn't see much of because it started almost an hour late) aquariumgirl and I went to dinner, and then, to a place that makes homemade ice cream. As we walked past, I looked through the window and said, "mmm bears." She responded with "I noticed that." I asked "which is better, bears or ice cream." "Bears last longer," she said.

I voted for bears with ice cream. :)

So last week, the Giant was having a sale on protein bars. After much searching I found a couple that weren't only soy protein. I found two brands that had whey protein in them along with soy protein, and where the whey protein was before the soy protein on the ingredients list. I brought one to work the other day, but misplaced it. Today, I found it, and ate it for an afternoon snack. Wow. It was a Powerbar Protein Plus in chocolate peanut butter flavor.

I bought another one of the powerbar protein plus things, in a different flavor, and two other protein bars that I can't remember the name of that are at home...but it's nice to find at least one non-vile protein bar that won't make me sick.

I've often called myself queer as a three dollar bill, but I've never tried to buy my groceries with one.
