Oct. 18th, 2003 08:02 pmSome of the "must watch" movies are clearly ones that warrant tears at the end...Philadelphia comes to mind as one that always makes me cry. Mommie Dearest on the other hand, doesn't.
But would someone please explain why the end of A League of Their Own makes me weep?
(I think I'm going to go surf back and forth between Field of Dreams and game 1 of the World Series, even if, as my mother put it the other day "it doesn't matter, the important games have already been played. It doesn't matter who won the world series, the league championships were more important."
