LASIK anyone?

I've tried to avoid driving at night for a long time...I've had night vision issues since childhood...I've been told it has to do with astigmatism, and also with the size of my pupils (which are, according to one doctor, are "very large.")

But tonight, driving home in the rain and after dark (at about half past eight) it became apparent to me, how serious the night vision issues are.

My Dad had LASIK a few years ago, but he's never had the kind of night vision problems that I have, so he hasn't been able to tell me anything about it.

I know there can be issues with halos and night glow, but that's what I deal with all the time at night anyway, and I'm not sure it could get worse.

Has anyone reading had LASIK? Wanna share your experience with me?
