(no subject)

Typically, zedrikcayne will IM me when he's ready to leave work, let me know he's leaving and make sure that we don't need anything on the way home.

Last night, I'd asked him to take my car today, so he could fill the gas tank at Costco, which is on his way to work and has cheaper gas. I didn't plan on going anywhere, and he had promised to stop for a couple of things at the store today, but forgot this morning, and I'm not really comfortable driving his car right now, so he said he'd stop at the 24 hour market on the way home.

About a half hour after he says he's leaving, the following conversation took place via IM...

[00:29] me: What?
[00:29] me: You have my car
[00:29] him: can you come an...
[00:30] him: oh crap
[00:30] me: What?
[00:30] him: there it is
[00:30] him: i was about to call the police
[00:31] me: Have you really been looking for your car for half an hour?
[00:31] him: do i ever feel dumb
[00:32] me: Poor Monkey

I do feel bad for him. But it's kind cute at the same time. I can't help but love him even more at moments like this.
