(no subject)

The one thing zedrikcayne asked for for his birthday was to take the baby on an outing by himself. Just to go get something for lunch or something. (For him, not the baby.)

I said I was okay with it, but inside, I'm having the rather normal reaction of "freaking out." They're going to go to Home Depot to buy his birthday gift (a new knocker for the front door) and to get some lunch.

I know everything is fine. But it's still this strange and fierce "can't let go" feeling.
