Naomi built a castle all by herself this morning. I took a picture because I thought it was the coolest one she'd built, and I saw that she'd done some things with her blocks that I hadn't seen her do before.
My mother's comment on the photo was "There's mischief in the younger one's eyes."
I really wish I had a better camera that posted to the internet as easily as my phone does. I do love the way I can upload to Twitter and Facebook right from the phone.
Getting ready for Naomi's birthday. Must sort out details of party soon.
Envious of my sister in law at the moment. She's started going back to school taking courses required to sit for the IBCLC exam. While I don't think that's the path I want to take I'm envious that she knows what she wants to do and is making it happen. I'm actually not even sure what I want to do beyond motherhood.
Still trying to sort out school for Naomi next year. I don't know what to do for her. I keep forgetting to call a couple of places, because I typically make calls in the afternoon while the kids are sleeping, and at least one needs to be called in the morning. Also need to figure out swimming lessons for the kids too.
Very tired lately. Waiting to see if new dose of thyroid medication is going to help resolve this-I think it's helping, although I've stayed up too late a few nights recently and that's not good.
Quite worried about my father lately-he's recovered slowly from the heart surgery, but he's fainted again, and there have been issues of memory/confusion. GP can't find anything, cardio can't find anything, neurology hasn't found anything definitive yet, although he's just had a 24 hour EEG and we'll have to see if that finds anything. I'm not really sure that it's safe for him to be home alone, but there's not really anything I can do.
It's half past six here...time to go do a couple of quick things before supper. And try and figure out what to do with my life.
