Just that Kind of Day

Not sure what it is about today, but today is like, the day for blowjob jokes.

Our new euphemism is "kiss the ring."

Someone made crude remarks as one of my co-workers ate a cucumber. (A. for anyone who has met people I work with, was sitting at the conference room table just outside my office eating an entire cucumber.)

And when discussing holiday shopping with co-workers, I mentioned that I hadn't finished. They asked me if I'd gotten gifts for aquariumgirl and for other sweeties. (They know I'm involved with men and women...it's kind of cool that way.) So when they asked about a guy, I said I hadn't gotten anything for him yet. IB (again, for those of you who know-that would be my office mate) got down on his knees in front of I and said "I know what you should give him!" Followed by "Come over here baby, I've got something for you."

Oh, and The Hanky Man bought these fabulous red pants, which he's wearing. They're rather festive, but he came over to me this morning and asked "would you like to feel my pants?" It just sounds so not right. (They were incredibly soft-I suspect microfiber. Very petable.)

One of those days...maybe we're all just a bit off cause our holiday party is this afternoon. But it's all right.

It's fine. My userinfo page tells you how I feel about it-that it's fine with me, that most of my posts are public and that I don't necessarily friend everyone who friends me, but I do often check out journals regularly of people who read mine.

That's my cat Beta, on the day he came to live with me in September 2002, when he was about seven weeks old. He's now much larger than that picture, but still very good company. I have another cat, Oblivion who I also have photos of. They're occasional topics of livejournal posts.
